Bisexual released from jail?
Yes, I’m blogging about Paris Hilton. Yes, I’m ashamed of that. But given that she is reportedly bisexual (and thank god she never came out or we bisexuals would be much worse off!) I felt obligated to mention something.
Actually, I want to talk about her shoes. But first I want to talk about Lindsey Lohan. Yes, you can kill me now.
A few weeks ago when that photo of Lindsey Lohan was taken of her passed out in the passenger’s seat of her friend’s car in that American Apparel gray flannel sweatshirt, that $24 piece of fabric sold off the shelves so fast that it quickly became one of the store’s bestsellers. At the time, I joked to my sister who works in fashion p.r. that all she had to do was get one of those idiot starlets to commit some crime in one of her designer’s clothes to make her company millions.
Then this morning happened. Paris Hilton walked out of jail wearing none other than Marcello Toshi princess heels. My sister came rushing into my bedroom (yes, I live with my sister, and if you don’t find that adorable there’s something wrong with you) and interrupted my shower to tell me that that’s one of her company’s designers.
“It’s exactly what you said to do, and then it happened. Isn’t that crazy?” she said.
All I knew of my sister’s company’s connection to Paris Hilton was that the heiress borrowed one of their Branch bracelets for a photo shoot and it came back into their showroom with a blonde hair on it.
Yuck.
Regardless, I’m happy for my sister that Paris Hilton wore her designer’s shoes to jail. The shoes are being credited in news articles. The apocalypse is nigh.
