OK, I know I’m like two weeks behind on this, but my lovely friend Julie just sent me a link to the new Hillary Clinton video Hot4Hill on YouTube. I’d heard about it awhile back, but never got around to looking for it. Big mistake. It features this adorable little brunette singing about her lust for the former first lady and has a hilarious line about being bi: “I know you’re not gay, but I’m hoping for bi...lingual.”
Aside from being a brilliant spoof on the “I Love Obama” video from a few weeks back, it’s got a freakin’ great chorus. That thing will be in my head for at least the next 15 minutes.
I should also mention that Mike and I are pretty much hot for Hill ourselves. Though everyone bitches about her likeability and electability, we adore her. Sure, she’s a politician. But who else has the experience to get us out of this mess? Everything people criticize about her would never be brought up if she were a male candidate. She’s smart (a major no-no for women). She’s tough (a good quality in any president). And she has specific plans for little things like saving the middle class and creating legislation that would make it illegal for employers to pay women $0.70 for every dollar men make.
And like the video says, “She can totally win.” If you don’t believe me, read the polls people.
